A Sculptural Luxury Residence Overlooking Sentosa Cove

Studio Meridian's waterfront residence for a Sentosa Cove client leans on curved plaster walls and a tightly restrained material palette to produce something closer to a resort suite than a typical luxury home. Sophie Lau says the brief was explicit: no hard corners in the main living spaces.

That constraint shaped everything from the joinery profiles to the custom-poured reception desk in the entrance hall. Every curved surface was mocked up at full scale on site before being finalised, a step Lau says added weeks to the schedule but was non-negotiable for getting the proportions right.
