Studio Meridian

Studio Meridian, founded by Sophie Lau in 2016, works primarily in luxury residential and hospitality interiors, with a sculptural, curved-form language that has become close to a signature. Curved plaster walls and joinery profiles are mocked up at full scale on site before any project is finalised, a step Lau considers non-negotiable regardless of how much time it adds to a schedule.

Design director Ryan Ho joined the studio in 2019 and now leads much of its hospitality work, including a recent twelve-room boutique hotel where every room was designed to the standard the studio usually reserves for private homes.
