Marcus Tan has worked alongside Clara Ng at Atelier North since the studio's early years, and leads much of its work on compact apartments. He is known for built-in joinery that folds several functions, storage, seating, even a guest bed, into a single continuous piece rather than scattering separate furniture through a small room.
