Isabelle Chen founded Forma House in 2012 around a working method that starts every project with physical material samples rather than a rendered image. Her projects favour concrete, plaster and stone left close to their raw state, an approach she says is harder to sell upfront but produces interiors that age better than ones chosen purely for how they photograph on day one.
