Clara Ng founded Atelier North in 2014 after growing frustrated with commercial design work she felt prioritised how a space photographed over how it functioned. Her projects, from compact HDB flats to full apartment renovations, are built around a simple test: does the room work at 7am on an ordinary Tuesday, not just the afternoon a photographer visits.
