DP Design Named Design Firm of the Year at SIDA 2025
DP Design took home eight wins at the ninth Singapore Interior Design Awards, including Design Firm of the Year, with practice director Allan Wang named both Designer of the Year and Young Designer of the Year.

The Singapore Interior Design Awards (SIDA), now in its ninth edition, named DP Design its Design Firm of the Year for 2025, recognising what organisers described as the practice's holistic, investigative approach to interior spaces. The firm left the November 24 gala with eight wins in total.
- DP Design won Design Firm of the Year at SIDA 2025, with eight wins overall.
- Allan Wang won both Designer of the Year and Young Designer of the Year.
- Three DP Design projects won individually: an HDB workplace, The Exchange TRX, and Odeon 331.
Allan Wang named Designer of the Year
Practice director Allan Wang was named both Designer of the Year and Young Designer of the Year, for an interdisciplinary body of work that includes the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge at Perth International Airport and a project called A Verdant Workplace.
The project wins
DP Design's project wins at SIDA 2025 included Gold and Luminary honours for an HDB Workplace Transformation in the Best in Workspace Design category, built around nature-inspired elements drawn from HDB estate communal landscapes, and for The Exchange TRX in Malaysia in the Best in Retail Design category, which wove Batik-inspired patterns and Songket-inspired lighting into a mall communal space. A third project, Odeon 331, received an Honourable Mention in Best in Public Space Design for turning a building lobby into an urban-park-style space.
SIDA 2025 recognised 108 winners from six countries across categories including Design Firm of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Design Educator of the Year, Best Use of Sustainable Materials and Best Cultural Narrative.
